Record your daily food intake and beverage intake using the Diet & Wellness Plus app.
Use the Assignment on Reuben Ward as an example. You need to write down everything you eat and drink
and their AMOUNTS for 24 hours. For example, you can start at 8:00 AM and finish by 8:00 AM the following
day. Please make sure to write down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks and if you missed a meal leave it
blank or say “nothing”.
Please note that you need to enter all your food and beverages into Diet & Wellness Plus app which is on
MindTap menu on the right (Green apple with a red plus in it). First you need to enter YOUR profile into D&W+
the same way that you entered Ruben Ward’s profile except that this time is your own information such as your
age, gender, height, weight, activity level, etc. Then you will enter all the foods and beverages and their
amounts into D&W+.
After you enter your foods and beverages and their amount into D&W+, go to Reports and generate an Intake
vs. Goals and My Plate Analysis, and write down some comments on them. For examples: did you eat enough
fruits and vegetables based on your My Plate Analysis? or was your calorie intake inadequate or excessive
based on Intake vs. Goals? How was your vitamin and mineral intake, etc.
